It’s been an absolute pleasure working with and/or serving you!

As students ourselves, we set out to start our company with the objective of helping students by improving grocery accessibility.

​

Unfortunately, despite all the hard work the Sumer team put into this goal, we’ve realized that it’s time to shut down our company. It’s been clear, however, that although we did not achieve this goal at the scale we would’ve liked to, we made an impact in our community. That’s a success in our eyes.

​

At this time, we would like to take all the valuable lessons we've learned about ourselves and running a tech startup, and move on to a new challenge or problem we'd like to tackle.

To our valued customers: for those of you who visited this website, thank you! For those of you who used our service, occasionally or repeatedly, thank you! For those of you who volunteered their time to speak to us to help us better our service, thank you! For those of you who recommended our service to a friend, thank you! We would not have gotten anywhere without you.

To our valued university brand partners: thank you so much for selflessly believing in your local student entrepreneur! Without you, we would not have been able to reach students and make an impact in the capacity that we did.

To our team: thank you for your hard work in taking Sumer to heights we thought unimaginable. With your help, we made a real impact on students’ lives together. I know each and every one of you will be successful and we’re excited to see what the future holds for you.

To our mentors and advisors: thank you for your guidance over the past 3 years. No matter how large or how many obstacles we hit, we never felt alone because we knew we had someone to navigate through them with. It’s been a pleasure learning from and working with you!
